chapter 112, al-Ikhlâs “CLARIFICATION” (from the root kh-l-s: purification of a thing from dross; clarify)
the structure of the chapter:
112 = 14 x 8
- in “Arabic it consists of 1 section / 66 letters / 23 words / 5 verses
23 (words) + 5 (verses) = 28 = 14 x 2

all other translations do the same. None have translated the word Samad properly.
bi (by; with; in) sm (name) il-laah (ALLÂH) ir-rahmaan (benevolent) ir-raheem (merciful)
112:1 qul (say) huwa (he) al-laah (ALLÂH) ahad (individual; any; entity)
112:2 al-laah (ALLÂH) us-samad (substantive)
112:3 lam (was-not) yalid (he-begets) wa (and) lam (was-not) yoolad (he-is-begotten)
112:4 wa (and) lam (was-not) yakun (exists; is) la (to; for) hoo (him) kufuw (match) ahad (individual; any; entity)
112:1 Ahad means “any; any-one/thing; entity”
(Ahad and Waahid are from the same root, but have different meanings – Waahid is literally “one; single” – a number
- Ahad is lazily translated as one, but it literally means “any-one/thing” or a separate “entity”
112:2 as-Samad means “substantive” – having independent existence; having substance.
Samad is the 68th Name of Allah and it only appears once in the Qur,an, 112:2.
it comes from the root s-m-d (samada) – “to be solid, not hollow;” “to set up, erect a thing, adorn, wish, repair, strike;” “that which recourse is had”
Samad literally means “having independent existence; independent.
of, relating to, containing, or being the essential element of a thing
having independent function, resources, or existence – substantive”
Samad is thus translated in the way of taking the physical (anthropomorphic) reality away from Allah.
Allah is an entity, having independent existence; substance (material).
Allahu Akbar “God is the biggest; largest” (not the greatest, which a’zam)
Akbar, a form of the root k-b-r, is a physical attribute of size.
112:3 “ He did not beget and He was not begotten”
- the Black nation does not beget and it was not begotten. every body begins from a single cell, then it multiplies and multiplies until you have a human body. the cells multiply and die and that process continues throughout the entire life of the body. the cell that started it all in no longer there, but yet it is the same body.
- the black nation began from one man, who was self-created and then made from Himself the woman. they multiplied; those humans kept multiplying even after the deaths of the original humans. He was Allah, the body is Allah.
- the cells in your body today were not here yesterday, they won’t be here tomorrow. but you are still you.
- the humans here today weren’t here “yesterday,” they won’t be here “tomorrow,” but through our multiplying, the Nation (the Body of Allah) will still be here.
- also, this is why we don’t say that the Caucasian race is the “son” of Allah, the Black Nation. they are “grafted” (more on this at another time)
112:4 “and there has not existed for Him any as a match.”
- every human being is comparable to one another, but the Black Nation, Who is Allah, there is nothing in the universe that is comparable. no animal, planet, not anything.
“Allah is all of us. But we have a Supreme One that we can throw this name “Holy” upon. He is Allah, The One over all of us; The Most Supreme One, the Wisest One, the Mightiest One; The One that Sees and Hears that which we can’t see and hear. That Is He. He Is rooted in all of us. Every righteous person is a god. We are all God. When we say “Allah” we mean every righteous person. Allah teaches me that He is a man — not something that is other than man. The Holy Qur’an refers to Him in such pronouns as “He” and as “We” and as “Us.”
